My Holiday to Egypt in 2007

I recently toured Egypt for two weeks. I had an amazing time, and saw so many things, and visited so many beautiful places including Cairo, Luxor, Aswan and Hurghada. I went on a Nile Dinner Cruise, visited the Sphinx and Pyramids. I went inside one of the Pyramids, and then rode a camel ! I cruised the Nile, visiting some beautiful Temples (Kom Ombo, Philae, Edfu, Luxor, Karnak and Abu Simbel) Took Horse Drawn carriages through Luxor, and even went under the Suez Canal. On our busiest day we saw the sunrise over Luxor from a Hot Air Balloon, visited the Valley of the Kings (where we went in four tombs !!), Valley of the Queens, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. We then spent four days relaxing in a little town on the Red Sea Coast called Dahab. There we snorkelled in the Blue Hole, Quad Biked into the desert at sunset, and just relaxed by the pool and beach. On our arrival back in Cairo, we visited the Egyptian Museum, which holds the most amazing treasures, the highlight had to be seeing all of King Tutankhamen's funeral objects and golden mask. We then went shopping in the famous Khan El Khalil Bazaars in Cairo. We were really sad to leave such a beautiful country, and we will definitely be returning.
